Objective: The goal was to create a visual identity for Ruth's Violin studio that was representative of the classic, traditional, and elegant background of violin as an instrument and the studio itself. With a focus on growing the studio, a logo was needed to help create a foundation for the business and a recognizable visual image to connect a name with the face of the studio.
Concept: Ruth's Violin Studio is led by a classically trained and well-respected musician. Playing off of the silhouette of the violin, the 'R' was used to emphasize the visual of the instrument and carry it through the name. Long, clean, consistent lines in the typeface provides a polished, graceful, and dignified statement through the design.
