Objective: The goal was to create a full deck of playing cards designed with a single typeface.
Concept: For the Communication Strategy, I focused on Caslon’s history with typeface being from the early 18th century. This will include patterns from quilt blocks, wallpaper, and fabric design. I also focused on the decorative structure and the unique qualities of some of the letters such as the apex of the A, the tail of the letter Q, and created a container for the designs with curly brackets.
